About us -

Northern Traders is an electronic 'brown goods' service department based in Morley. Originally established in 1966 we have many years of servicing experience resulting in high customer satisfaction, and a trusted reputation.

As well as carrying out repairs to the public directly, we are also an authorized service centre for various manufacturers including Hitachi, JVC, Sharp, Sony, LG, Sanyo and Toshiba. We also carry out extended-warranty repairs for many leading Insurance companies.

With a priority on carrying out repairs as quickly as possible, our professional customer focused service has earned us Level 1 service centre status for Domestic and General Insurance.

Having a strong relationship with the leading manufacturers we are able to source our spares directly which means we can carry out repairs with minimal delay, and spares cost.

The office is open between 9:00am until 5:00pm Monday to Friday, and 9:00am until 11:00am Saturdays. Outside these hours a message can be left on the answer machine, and we will endeavor to respond when the office reopens.


With ample experience of servicing both old and new electronic goods, our qualified service engineers provide a fast quality service.

Repairs are carried out as quickly as possible, using the latest service tools in an electrostatic-free environment. The workshop itself is designed to repair and test and store all equipment including the latest flat-screen technologies.


Where ever possible our field service team will try to resolve reported faults on the customers premises. Our service engineers carry common parts allowing repairs to be carried out on-site.

Although due to the nature of some faults, and technologies some repairs will need attention in our workshop. When this is the case, our service team will collect items to be repaired in our workshop, and return them once repaired. Any items taken away are looked after physically using protective covers and fastened securely.
